November Favourites

November Favourites

Omg it's the end of November where did it go but that means it'll soon be Christmas and that makes me incredibly happy. So here are some of the things I have been Loving this month.

Cinema

Spectre

I really enjoyed this bond film it had all the classic elements of the old bond films tied in with the new ones, Great car scene, funny moments and familiar faces, this bond ties the other bond films that Daniel has done so you find out a little bit more about his past and what happened to him after his parents passed away as well as who Spectre are. Overall I really enjoyed it.

Film

Magic Mike XXL

I had this film in a previous favourites when I went to go see it in the cinema so I won't repeat myself, but it is ten times better then the First Magic Mike.

Inside Out

This Film also appeared in a previous favourites so I won't repeat myself, but I have purchased it and I enjoy watching it.

The Duff

Now when I saw the trailer for this I really wanted to go see it but just never go round to it so when it popped up on itunes I purchased it. I like it and it is funny but it does have the typical ending of the girl gets the guy but i suppose there is not many other ways to end it. But it's a Fun Chick Flick to watch with the girls.

Beauty/Skincare

The Body Shop's Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I normally using The Body Shop's Aloe Vera cleanser and toner to remove my makeup but I like to use this for a change it's really nice to use and it doesn't leave you skin feeling oily. I put the oil on then using a damp muslin Cloth I'll wipe it off, it takes off all of the base makeup and for my eyes I use my Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Makeup Remover which has been in a favourites before. But I really like the whole camomile makeup remover range and I like to change it up once in a while.

Essie - Bahama Mama

This is a deep purple berry tone it's so nice for a winter berry tone I've been wearing it on my toes since buying it at the Beginning of November as i usually have gelish or nails on my fingers and I think it is going to be the Colour I wear on my Toes for Christmas Day with some glitter (only on my big toe though as glitter is so hard to get off).

Everything Else

New Look: Dark Red Patent Tassel Front Loafers

I bought these a month or two ago but only recently been wearing them a lot, I love the colour of the an how smart they look and because I have size 9 feet I'd thought they'd might look too chunky but they are nice a smart and a subtle way to add a different colour to a black outfit. A Good Autumn/Winter Staple.

Ted Baker: Jules - Crystal Face Watch

I Bought this watch before my birthday as a birthday treat to myself it was rather pricey but I received 20% and thought why not as I wanted a Nice watch that I could wear if I was going out somewhere nice as normally I use my phone day to day. So I bought this Pink with Rose gold detailing watch for Ted Baker and I have Loved it ever since I bought it even though it's pink it goes with a lot of outfits.

Alice in Wonderland Tattoo New Additions

So on the 20th of Nov I had more added to my Alice In Wonderland piece I had the White Rabbit and Caterpillar added and I can't wait to get the Quote added next to then see what space I'll have left to play with and what I can add. My favourite part of the new addition would have to be the Smoke Crocodile because it looks amazing the colour, it's grin is so pretty and sometimes it's the littler things that I love more then the big things (I Love all my tattoos and they all hold a special place/memory in my heart but sometimes it's the small details that makes them for me).

The Body Shop

Frosted Plum is the new Christmas Scent added to The range from last year, it replaced Vanilla Brulee, But Glazed Apple and Frosted Cranberry Stay part of the range. For me I think they should of called it Sugared Plum rather then Frosted but hey ho it smells so good It's a new welcomed addition to the Christmas Range for me and I finally started using Christmas scents yayy.

Glade Electric Wax Warmer

I bought this when it was half price as I'm funny about candles so I thought this would be the best option for me, the heater bit of the warmer doesn't get that hot which I was surprised at but I really like the fact it doesn't and I've had it on hours at a time. At the moment I don't have a Glade wax in I have a Yankee Candle wax melt and it smells so good I have Christmas Cookie in at the moment.

So there are my favourites for the month of November and this now also starts the Christmas Blog posts every Sunday till Christmas Day.

Disney Tag

Disney Tag

Seen as I love Disney i thought I'd do a Disney Tag Blog post. Questions are taken from multiply tags and some that I have added. Some of them have more then one answer so I kinda cheated but there just so much to love when it comes to Disney.  So here are the Questions

What’s your favourite Disney film?
Now for some people this question is easy and simple but for me I can't pick between three and they don't have a an order to the three and are my favourite they are Beauty and The Beast, The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan. These films also are on my wrist in a subtle way, I have The Heart of True love From The Little Mermaid, an Acorn from Peter Pan and 'Beauty Lies Within' from Beauty and The Beast.

Which Disney movie’s scene would you have loved to live/experience?

The one scene I would love to live/experience is Flying to Neverland, cause who wouldn't want to fly and see Neverland for the first time with Peter Pan.
Who is your favourite prince?

Flynn Rider
Who is your favourite princess?

I have two that are tied which are Belle and Ariel.
If you were a Princess, who would you be?
I'd be Ariel in her Mermaid Form I've also wanted to be a mermaid for as long as I can remember probably why I'm a Redhead, I'd have a beautiful shimmer tail and dolphins as friends. What more could a girl want. If I was a Mermaid I think the only thing I'd miss is Faux Fur I have a streak of Cruella about me but only ever Faux Fur I'd like the puppies to be alive and just live with me.
Who's your favourite Character?

My favourite character has to be Peter Pan because who wants to grown up.
A Disney scene that makes you cry every time?

This is also tie between two but one is Disney Classic and the other is Pixar. The Disney Classic is The Lion King Mufasa's Death Scene o the feels and it's only as an adult I seem to cry, as a kid I don't remember crying at any Disney film in fact the only movie that I used to cry at was Titanic when they'd cuff Jack and left him when the water was rising and I sobbed and never saw the end of Titanic till I was 18 or something. The Pixar Film is Toy Story 3 Andy saying Goodbye to his Toys Scene. First time I watched this the mascara fell it's just so sad as I grew up with Toy Story and it came out when it was the time that the generation who was going of to uni, 'growing up' and were the ones that was brought up with the journey of Toy Story.
What’s your favourite Disney Classic song?

Once upon a Dream From Sleeping Beauty but there are so many that are great songs.

What's your favourite Disney Pixar song?

This has to be Life is a Highway from Cars I love this song, it's a proper feel good song.
What's your Favourite Disney Love Song?

Kiss the Girl From The Little Mermaid

What's your favourite Villain Song?

I have three for this they are
1. The Lion King Scar - Be Prepared
2. Princess and the Frog Dr Faciler - Friends on the Otherside
3.The Little Mermaid Ursula - Poor Unfortunate Souls

Who's your favourite Villain?

Professor Ratigan (Mainly because Basil the Great mouse Detective is the more under rated Disney film ever) and his sidekick used to scare me and my siblings.

Who's your favourite Villain's Sidekick?

Lago Jafar's Sidekick

Who's your Favourite Sidekick?

Terk From Tarzan

What's your favourite Disney live action Film?

Hocus Pocus and Maleficent

What's your Favourite Tim Burton's Disney Film?

The Nightmare Before Christmas I had to make a question just so this could be the answer.

What's your favourite Pixar Film?

UP the first half an hour gets me every time and it's only music.

Wha's your favourite Disney Sequel?

I have two which are Return to Neverland which has my favourite opening credits ever and Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.

So there are my answers to the Disney Tag with also a little more about me. Why not give it ago yourself if you love Disney. This picture beneath is 100% true Sundays are Disney Day's for me.

Rock N Rose

Rock N Rose

Now Rock N Rose have been in my life since 2008 when it all started with a scrabble necklace, ring and a lego ring I then expanded to floral crowns all 10 of them to necklaces, rings and floral head bands and it's now that I'm doing a blog post I realise how much I have  collected over the years.

Rock N Rose is all about Girl Power, Strong Women and Sisterly Love that make Killer Floral Crowns and Jewellery that are too die for. I especailly refer to the pom pom earrings (I'm still wishing they'll do them in grey, baby pink and baby blue one day fingers crossed)

This is the Evolution of my Rock N Rose Collection.

So My collection started with a scrabble necklace and ring with also a lego ring. Then I won a Key Necklace from there Facebook Page ROCK 'N ROSE I then bought a wish bracelet and when it fell off your wish came true, then was my first Floral crown for my 16th Birthday which came with a free bracelet due to it being late.

Then the Kora Inverted Cross Necklace and the Faith oversized earring then I purchase my 9 exclusive flower crowns, Then from two christmas ago My Brother Bought me two Floral Head bands and a necklace from Pixie Lott's collection.

Last year around Halloween Rock N Rose had a £1 ring so I had to buy it also I bought a Midi ring to get free postage, then came the arrow ring and the last thing I have bought from them this year is my beloved Black Pom Pom earrings and I seriously need them in more colours.

The Rings

The Necklaces

The Crowns

The Earrings

All the girls that work there are so nice and will answer any question you have or problem that needs solving and all their items/products are so well made and I've never had a problem with them.

I feel like I've seen them grow because their style of jewellery has changed so much since I first found them in the best way possible with what they use to make them and design. I can't wait to buy more Pom Pom earrings in beautiful colours and look sassy as hell yes I mention them Tons but they are definitly my favourite piece of jewellery I own from them.

Bonfire Night

Bonfire Night

Remember Remember the 5th of November.

Bonfire Night is a typically British thing as it's all about Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up The houses of parliament with gunpowder but failed. He's like the British original villain and so in tradition we build a bonfire and make a Guy Fawkes and put him on the fire and set of fireworks in his fail attempt of treason... I've never released how sinister it actually sounds until now. But the night also includes of Hot dogs, Burgers, Toffee apples
and of course wrapping up warm and cosy while watching fireworks.

Now their is a couple of things that happen here in Towns/Villages normally they have a public bonfire and firework display and have fair rides etc. or you can purchase your own fireworks, build your own bonfire and have your own bonfire party at home. As a kid I'd either be a Family gathering or Close Family Friends or both whether it be at my home or my Granma's etc. As a kid I loved Bonfire Night getting wrapped up and watching the Fireworks while eating Hot Dogs but now that I have a dog who isn't the biggest fan on them (although when he was a pup he used to be inside with us as we watched the fireworks going of in the garden) so I usually spend it with him on my bed with the TV on and the windows shut to try and keep the sound out but as a kid I loved it. So here are some of my tips for Bonfire night.

Wrap up warm.

Now it's November the average temperature during the day is 10 degree's so at night this drop by at least half so wrapping up warm is a must even if you get to hot, that is better then being freezing cold. One year I decide to wear a skirt with leggings and I freezing and this was when I at a public bonfire so i couldn't just pop home to get warm so from now on jeans, trousers, jumpers galore and if your like me and you like to be girly just add a statement necklace or some earrings.
So Hats or Ear muffs, Scarf or a Snood, Coats, gloves and jumpers are essential to wear. My Favourite place to buy my Autumn Accessories has to be Accessorize yes there a little bit price but it is such good quality.

Some food tips

I think Bonfire night is the last time you will use the BBQ till next summer so traditional BBQ foods Burgers, Hotdogs, Baked Potatoes (whether is a normal jacket potato or you scoop the inside out and mix it with delicous cheese, bacon etc whatever you wanna add to it then recook it) Marshmallows, Chocolate Banana's with marshmallows (on the BBQ), Toffee apples, rustic chips, Cookies, Cakes, Buns etc etc etc the list goes on. why not cook your family favourite whether it's Chilli Con Carne but serve with the rustic chips instead of rice. I think one thing to use though is paper plates/bowls because if your gonna have to wash the pan/trays you've used and if you have 20 people around that is too many plates so just get the paper ones out then it doesn't really matter.  Another Idea is instead of buying Toffee apples buy normal apples cut them into pieces and dip them into toffee, chocolate, caramel whatever you fancy and have them instead of a whole toffee apple.

Drinks

Now Adults will most likely be wanting Alcohol and I recommend Brother's Toffee Apple Cider I love this drink anyway but it is pretty perfect for Bonfire night. Another Drink to have is Mulled Cider a nice warm alcohol drink I use the Jamie Oliver's recipe Mulled Cider Recipe if you like sweet drinks you'll love both of them. A drink for kids and big kids a like is the Ultimate Hot Chocolate Which for me is Aero Hot Chocolate, touch of milk, big marshmallows in the Hot Chocolate then squirty cream on top then little marshmallows on top it is heavenly and the marshmallows in the hot chocolate go all gooey, this is probably a heart attack in a cup but by god it's good.

Now because Bonfire night this year is during a Half Term they'll properly start on Bonfire night and finish on Sunday I think as usually it's during school terms so it's normally all at the weekend instead so you get one more night of it butting knowing my area they will go on what feels like forever. Having a Dog has made it feel like forever as he hates it and doesn't settle all night and he looks at you like help me.

But Whether you are having a party going to a public Bonfire or simply having a cosy night in enjoy yourself and stay safe and don't do anything stupid.

I'm so excited to start writing Christmas blog posts so look forward to them. evieeviolet
